I am at the point of installing by trans line that came with the 2004r from BTO. The issue I am having is what route should the lines go. If any one has a pic of how they installed there line would be great. I just don't want to start cutting or bending my lines unless I have to, then to find out later i just routed them through the front wrong. They seem to look like they go along the oil pan and above the cross member.
NO, they go outboard under/front of the pass footwell, and to the frame rail on top and then inboard a tthe controll arm....supposed to go to the radiator, but I run them into the individual cooler by themselves...

The factory lines on my '71 run along the oil pan and over the front cross member to the radiator. BT sent me the same lines in you pic. I'm planning on routing mine the same way along the oil pan. Unless someone has a better way.
I have to drop the 2004r out again to shorten and re-flare the upper line. It rubs on the trans tunnel.
I hope the following pics help. You can see the old lines and the upper line that is against the tunnel.
