L82 head question
Ok folks I'm not an engine guy so I could use a little help.
73 L82 4spd
Edlebrock Performer 2101
Holley 670 double pumper
MSD 6A ignition
headers
Stock heads with 6:1 crane roller rockers
(all done by previous owner)
I believe the valve guides are shot (blue smoke after I get on it) and I'm wondering.... rework existing heads or go new. I'm after a weekend driver that's a little bit MEAN. What kinda ballpark $$ am I looking at ?
