I've already got one installed in my 79', and it's working fine. The problem is I need to order a TV cable seal, and the dealer needs to know a year and model to order the part. I told him a seal for a 700r4 and he ordered the wrong part. I wasn't sure if 81' or 82 was the first year.
I have one as well.. I am using a Lokar cable. When doing new mods, the parts dealers always ask for years... The lokar was adjustabale for any application.. just what I needed.
