Quart Can v. Spray Bottle

How many 16oz. spray bottles would equal a quart can...I want to touch some of my interior...

Have you tried to call the vendor who you are planning on buying from? The obvious answer would be 2, but the sprays cans/bottles are thinned and have propellant in them reducing the amount of actual paint/dye. So it will take a few more than 2.

I did my entire interior with a quart and a half, if that helps.

you are lucky if there is 3-4 Fluid Ounces in a spray can....so it will take 8 spray cans to equal 1 fluid qt.

I did my whole interior, took about 7-8 cans. Make sure you get more than enough, that way they all have the same dye lot. And you will not have a problem matching the color. You will also have some left for future touch ups if needed and it will match.

I'm planning on using the Preval system. A few members mentioned it on this site. If I get the quart it's cheaper and has the same lot number. http://www.prevalspraygun.com/

i have been using prevail for a few years,, you can get them at menards a lot cheaper than they sell them in body shop /paint supply houses--i seen the re-fill cartrages fro $1.50 or $2.00-and the whole set up for $3.50 instead of the $7.50 at paint supply houses----you'll probably have to thin the paint outta the quart,,,but if you got a lot of parts to dye you'll save a lot and have it for the rest of your life!!!!
