E-Bay has a 78 pace car with 243 miles supposedly with all documents that has never been titled or registerd. NO BIDS. buy it now is $6800.00. Whats wrong here?
I deal a lot on eBay, and even with a history on the vendor, it might be a case of identity theft. Advertise under someone else's name, then send money to the scammer's address. Simple precaution is do a carfax, registration check using the vin. Bottom line.... if it's too good to be true, it's probably not.
Hey, It must have been a scam , I tried asking the seller a question and received a message from e-bay stating the item is removed, and from what I surmised it was removed by e-bay,,, not the seller Peace,,, Craig
the point to the restricted part is that when you send correspondence to the guy about getting on his approved list, that's when he emails you the whole story, trying to get you hook line and sinker.
A scammer stole my feedback rating and name and used it to try to sell 2 differant motorcycles on ebay.I still don't know how he got my password to get into my ebay account. What a hassle to get it back to where I could use it again. Beware of Portugal also, along with India.
Dude,
Here's one I found while surfing a couple of weeks ago with 136 miles on it...never registered. $34.5k. Looks pretty nice but I think the guy is storing it on his lot!
