Hey guys/gals, Check out the Don Olson Electrical Schematic thread under
the C2 section. Makes them for vettes 1953 t0 1978. All lines on the schematic have the proper color coding so they are easy to follow.[blue lines where blue wires go-etc.] Schematics are oversize-one I just received was 34 inches wide by 22 inches high.Encased in Plastic. Can understand why some guys say they have theirs framed. Best tool that you will ever put in your electrical toolbox and sure will save hours of work and frustration. Any questions drop Don an e-mail at vetsvette2002@yahoo.com You'll love this thing and Don is even a Forum brother.
Anyone that is forunate enough to have one of these, let us know what you think. Can't believe all of the frustration I could have saved myself if I had know that these existed.
I wound up ordering a schematic off ebay for about $11. It wasn't color coded so I had to color my own circuitry for whatever circuit I was tracing. Sure would have liked this one, but even the one I got was absolutely indespensible.
In my growing collection of '77 shop manuals, I have the Corvette-only electrical troubleshooting manual and the all-model fold-out wiring diagram manual...great stuff. My old Haynes manual diagram is a mess from tracing circuits with highlighters.
$22.00 = $9.50 for shipping,, lucky me he is in bolingbrook illinios the next town north of me and about 3-5 miles so i would like to take a drive and skip the wait/shipping fee !!
ordered a laminated electrical print from a vendor when I ordered my dash wiring harness. Lines are all the same color, print small, what a zoo. Nothing I've seen is in the league with Don Olson's schematics. Great to follow a line on a print and have it the same color as the wire and everything big enough to see. One of my better investments and let's face it as long as we play with these toys, there will come a day when we'll need the print and be glad that we have it.
