yes, and if you've seen IBTL recently, it's "in before the lock", meaning someone got their post in before the thread got locked by a moderator.

I didn't know either of those even after posting for 6 months. DOH!

(And I'm a network guy. supposed to know lots of acronyms

)

it keeps peoples attention on it since the posts scroll down. posting anything moves the post back To The Top of the screen.

the popcorn things means people are waiting to see the answer...just like eating popcorn and watching a movie....

IMHO usually means "in my HUMBLE opinion." sometimes its JMO, or "just my opinion" and sometimes people jokingly put IMNSHO, which means "In my not so humble opinion."

You'll notice... that every time a post in made on a thread, it bumps that thread to the top of this list on the main page. TTT is simply a quick way to bump the thread to the top.... Threads at the top obviously get more attention from the masses.....
