2 racing stripes running down your car would look awesome, especially since your headlights doors are glassed in.. I would go with a silver or grey strip...goes well with black.

The problem I have with stripes is where the big hole in the hood is? Would that screw up the smoothness of the stripe s.
Marbelized graphite (dark gray) RS style stripes (2 thick stripes with the thin pinstripe either side) or..............why not do the ZL-1 style stripes....again in dark gray..that would be the stripe around the nose...and a thick stripe on the hood (wide enuff to go around the hole in the hood) ...and just carry the stripe onto the rear deck.

Those flames are awesome. I bet the cost of flames like that would be just as hot as they look. I would like to see a set of flames like that on a midyear and a bumper shark. I think it would be awesome.
You really should hook up with Mike Lavalle at Killer Paint...can you just imagine this fire trailing to about mid quarter panel on your car
If some one wants to flames like this on my car, just let me know where to drive it!!!
As far as stripes on a Black Vett, if I had the $$$, I'd go with the Baldwin Motion scheme in Silver!

I do not like either, especially on your car Mike. I think the stock body look with that blower, big tires, and trick side pipes can not be improved on. Any stripes or flames would make it too busy for me.

I have always been a fan of ghost flames also. I thought of doing some ghost work on mine but have been holding off. I like the look of it like it is now. Maybe later.
Ok, last year at the cruise in I saw this vette and it has ghost skulls on it with flames licking up the hood. It looked awesome. Check this one out.

with a blower, it might look too busy. otherwise, stripes. to me, flames don't look right on a C3. the GS look might work; the hash marks are a nice nod to the older race cars.
Thanks for the replys. Im leaning towards leaving it alone .I spent two years painting it .I dont want to do something I regret later. Those flames do look cool. But then it might get old to me.
everyone and his brother has either flames or 2 stripes...how about soemthing different? How about something with 2 colors one top one bottom and a stripe running in the middle but not the 2 tone straight design from the factory but something that accentuates the curves of the car.
