Does anybody know what is the correct shine finish of the vinyl dye to use for an interior ? I am wanted to redye all of my '80s interior pieces. Locally I have 2 options, one being a shiny look and the other more of a matte type finish. There always seems to be lots of the shiny finish on the shelf. However the one with the matte finish is always sold out.I am thinking the matte black is what I will want ? Thanx Brent
I don't think you would be happy with a gloss finish. I would go with the matte or satin finish. I painted my dash with SEM color coat Landau Black and it turned out very nice.
i redyed my whole interior with SEM firethorn red. it took about 6 cans. i didn't even know they came in different finishes. lucky for my i got the matte finish.
