Default Sound systems

Could someone give me a quick rundown on audio options please. I have a 74 convertible and would like to upgrade the sound system with a modern cd player without butchering up the bezel. Is the replacement one from Corvette America with a pre-installed unit the way to go? Does anyone have a reasonable priced replacement bezel alone? I found one for about 200.00......seemed a little high.

Thanks,

Jeff

I put a new stereo underneath the center rear compartment lid. I just point the remote over my shoulder to change stations or volume. I like the old-school radio too much to get rid of it.

I'll try to remember to take a few pictures tonight.

I have a pioneer in my 77, The previous owner cut the bezel and provided me with another full center gauge panel with all the gauges.

Once I get my new gauges ordered and in place I will be putting them out for sale as well as the center gauge panel. Probably about 2 months time.

No heat in the garage and saving the money to get everything is what is making things slow
