Help! Off Idle Stumble!
I've got an off-idle stumble that I can't seem to get rid of. I've got a 350 with a 1406 Edelbrock on an Edelbrock RPM manifold, stock heads (882s) and a Comp Cams XE262H camshaft. HEI distributor timing is set at 16* initial and 36* total at 2500 rpm. The idle mixture is set for max vacuum at 800 rpm (about 16 in) and she idles well. If I punch it from a dead stop, she stumbles, then goes. From highway speeds she just goes. I've tried going richer with no change and leaner with no change. She's more responsive at 1.5 steps lean primary calibration and stock secondary jetting, but still the stumble. What have I overlooked?
Jets are .095 primary and secondary with .073/.047 rods and 4" hg step-up spring.

I lost my carb stumble when I set my timing up by Lars Timing Paper. I must have had something sticking. But now there is no hesitation at all.
