Bowtie: What all do I need?

I'm looking at ordering a 700-r4 from Bowtie for my 81, and want to double check on everything I need to order for the system. Right now I've got the trans, shifter, crossmember and TV setup. I can get a converter and dipstick locally as well as shortening the driveshaft, so is there anything else that I need to look at from Bowtie? I've got about $1600 to play with and that's about $1300 so far with no idea of shipping charges. I'm hoping to make things fit in the budget and still have some leftover for install expenses.

call those guys, they'll tell you. I dealt with them over the phone and everything worked out well. Will your crossmember work out?

I'm planning on getting their 80-82 crossmember so I don't have to worry about modding my old one.

You'll need to change the speedogears in the 700R4 tranny to match your current setup.
