This car will go up to the buy it now price which is quite fair for the year and condition of the car. It is in some need of restoration but is in overall good condition.
How much do you think it is worth? If you think a lot more than that call me I have a 70 in similar shape that I would be willing to talk to you about.

Usually the cars I see on EBAY I can easily point out the unorigional parts. Barring the bad door panels and the white spedo guage, it appears pretty origional. 69E seat belts, the rear tray, etc...
I was wondering what I was missing in the details.
this car has been on ebay for about 4 or 5 weeks. maybe potential buyers are uncovering issues they dont like...and it keeps being relisted. i remember seeing it when i first started looking in mid january.
then again, maybe a sale fell through from buyers end or it just never hit the reserve price...? who knows, they may be getting desperate by now and you can strike a good deal!
Buggsy, if your serious about a '70 for sale , I'm listening. I'm looking. That car on ebay doesn't look too bad to me but it's on the wrong coast and I'm looking for an automatic but price seems ok. So...if your serious, let's talk. I'm local to you. thanks, Ken
This seller bought the car on Ebay on 1/23/05. It was donated to The Special Needs Adoption Foundation by a benefactor. It sold on Ebay then for $8,500 and listed the interior as red and the exterior as burgundy/maroon. Vin matches. Seller is looking for quite a profit for such a quick turnaround.
Are these years supposed to have iginition sheilding as well? Also the aircleaner is surley not orig. Are the rocker mouldings supposed to be painted black? THought that only came on late 70-80 cars. Also looks like the wiper door is not functional. AND the door panels are horrible....would rather see cracks than that droopy bubbafix

$8500 was an absolute steal!!! But if it only went for $8500 at one point, something tells me it needed a lot more than paint....
and the rockers are black on a 69..polished AL later on in 70 I beleieve...
I don't know what it is about this particular seller, but I've noticed that a lot of 1970 models that he lists go unsold, even though they seem to be good deals. Not sure why that is, but that's my .02.
I'm no expert here, but aftermarket exhaust shows in the rear.
Also, the T-tops are never shown, so - technically - the Ttops
do not need to be included.
One thing I'll say .... I would NEVER spend that much money
on a vehicle without inspecting it in person. NEVER. not even half that.
If you're serious, spend the bux to go inspect the car ... then buy it.
