Default Mid-Missouri Corvette Cup - any one going?

The Mid-Missouri Corvette Cup is having a corvette car show on April 2nd in Columbia Missouri (website http://www.midmocorvetteclub.com). Is anyone from here planning on going? I live near Saint Louis and have already sent in my registration.

It's going to be a busy weekend... Let's see parts.... or show...it's gonna be a tough choice..

April 2-3: Mid-America swap meet, Effingham, IL.

April 3: April Fools auto parts swap meet, Monroe County Fairgrounds, Waterloo, IL. Gates open to the public at 7 a.m.; outdoor swap spaces are $20 in advance, $25 day of meet.

I might be in Jeff City that weekend visiting the in-laws. Might have to make a trip to Columbia for the show.

I look forward to the possibility of meeting some of you. Mine will be the Red 1976 L82. My inlaws live in Columbia so I'll go over Friday evening, do the car show on Saturday, then head home on Sunday.

Mine should actually be in JC to get the exhaust put on and get the state inspection done. If I get it done, can I show up and put my car on display?

Ruby76, my car is more like a 'nigtmare in progress' - especially since I just knocked some paint off of one of the bumperettes on my fiberglass bumper. Does anyone make those in rubber??? The paint overall has been fairly ragged for a while now - it shines up nice, but has quite a few chips and stars.

All that being said, maybe I'll drag the ol' girl out for some sun. Uh-oh...now I'm feeling tempted to work on the paint and sport mirrors...

I wonder if I can make it across town with an old-school Missouri black and gold plate on the back without the fuzz saying anything...hmm...

My wife and I are planning on bringing her 80. It needs to be repainted but we will still have at the show. Hopefully we will get some ideas and some advice. Maybe we will see you there. I will be with the Kansas City Corvette Club.
