You can get them.
If you want brighter lights you have 2 paths.

A: upgrade to HID.
Loot at the Pulldowns other/Tech tips/ C5 (dont ask) and look for the link "How to instiall HID Yipeeeeeeeeee"
There is a how to for c3 there.

B: if you dont want to do HID, you have to convert your optics to accept a more modern bulb.

go to http://www.cibie.net/index.htm

5.75-HCR-F 5 3/4" E-Code Halogen Low/High Beam (flat face) - Cibie H4- $ 60.00 ea

5.75-HR-F 5 3/4" E-Code Halogen High beam (flat face) Cibie H1 - $ 60.00 ea

There are other units out there that will have a 5 3/4" round optic and accept a h1 bulb. 98% will NOT work. most aftermarket units are too deep to fit into our headlight housing. I can say from experience that these units will work.
.. yea they are a bit $pendy but they re all glass and top quality.

cheers

Hi, Wasnt there some posts not too long ago about putting a relay in line with the wires that hook up to the sealed beams them selves giving the lamps more voltage (But not by much) hence brighter lights? I dunno, maybe some one will remember that one, Peace, Moosie

I just got a two sets of 5 3/4 diamond cut OTTO brand headlights from PROCARPARTS on the web (can't attach link). I have not tried them in the car yet but quick inspection shows they will fit (might have to trim the rear mounting can). My son has these but square in his Monte SS and they made a BIG difference. You have to rewire the headlight plug to work the H4 zeon bulbs. The Cost ? less than $75.00 for all. incl shipping.

I have the OTTO lights in my L88 headlights and as they sit in the factory style cups and rings they should fit fine into a stock light.

I also have a link at home for 5-3/4" "angel eye" style lights (ala BMW) that I will post.

Do these lights have the bullet cover over the actual bulb ? I have seen some that dont have that feature and the light is not as reflective. The OTTO lights have the bullet. If you are going to use all 4 bulbs you have to rewire the low/high beam. as you will only use the high beam fillament.
