C3 General
C3 Tech
would be a good start. Let's see how that works before rocking the boat anymore than we have to.

As a newer member, just over a year, I was not for a split. But over the last couple of months I changed. There are way too many : look at what UPS delivered, here is a picture of my new wheels, ect. The current C3 General section is more of a Dog and Pony Picture Show.
At times I do like some of these threads and will spend time in both forums.
The only way sub-groups would work for me is if logged onto the parent forum and was able to see all threads in the subforums.

If you feel the need to add something in addition to the C3 split, then bring back the Babe section.

Hey Troy...Don't forget about us Forced induction/Nitrous guys.

4 &5's FI/N sections don't really apply to us. We run carbs, not fuel injection. Completly different setups.

I like General and Performance/Tech for the other 2

I would leave it alone, I just don't open a post that I'm not interested in. Better titles are all you need from posters.

I second Paul67's idea of 1. C3 general/resto and 2. C3 tech but I'm also fine with just 1. C3 general and 2. C3 tech.

I'm not a supporter of a split, but if the C3 section splits, I'd like to see:

C3 General Discussion
C3 Tech: Performance,Mods & Competition
C3 Tech: Factory Correct

If it has to split, General and Tech then. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with the way it is. Highlighting the thread title normally describes enough about it for me to be interested or not.

GS,
You want a real NCRS/factory section? That is well covered over at the NCRS Tech Board.

I don't support a split either....I like the C3 forum just the way it is. When things are posted that I'm not interested in...I just pass it by. It seems to me there are already enough catagories to satisfy anyones needs. I wouldn't like to have to look through a lot of subsets for things I have an interest in because someone didn't know where to properly post it.

Well, we still have factory correct discussions here.. Why not make it separate section...

That's three to keep resto in with general. That way performance oriented people don't butt heads with resto people.

Leave it alone. I don't want to surf two sections to try and catch everything.

You really want to split us up and turn this forum into the Corvette Action Center ?
Well, maybe then 67heaven will return.

CRAP - I NEVER go over there. Too many sections - too much to sift through.

What really needs doing here is a clamp down on all the BS.
If it has nothing to do directly with C3s - toss it out. Period.
That's what all the crying is really about. I'm guilty of this
charge, but if enforced - it wouldn't happen.

Yeah - I know it's a lot of work for the mods, but so is patrolling
multiple sections and moving posts to the appropriate ones.

Alright, all done venting - so do what you feel is best for your
forum, Troy. Honestly, I think you will see a drop in traffic, but
only time will tell. Personally, I intend to read and post in General - only.

I think that ForcedInduction would fall into Tech section just fine

I am all for 2 sections
General
Tech

Keep it simple
