Default Leaking Sidepipes ???

I am wondering:

If you have sidepipes (whatever style), do they leak where the collector mates with the tube? How do they seal there? Is there some sort of O-ring or gasket? If they do all leak, how have some of you tried to seal yours?

Thanks,
Bryan

there should be gaskets btw the collectors and your exhaust, you have to have it there otherwise it will leake and itll just be a pain in the ***. To fix just pop off the bolts and check if the gasket is sealed right, or old and worn or something. If you have the orig exhaust manifolds that might prove to be a problem to replace though

The Hooker sidepipes are a slip fit with a bolt that tightens the side tube to the headers. However, mine leak a little. Just not worth my time trying to make a perfect seal.

Mine leak there a tiny bit too. Ain't gonna worry about it either.
