Wipers on my 76 are dead when turning on wipers. Put a test probe on one side of fuse in the fuse box, nothing happened. Put the probe on other end of fuse, probe lights up and wiper motor sounds like it's working but nothing moving at the wiper arms or gear arms attach to. Any ideas of what the problem is ?
I lost the ground on my '71- wipers or my blower my blower motor
didn't work . I had a ground wire that was broke . Don't know how
it had separated but , I did a lot of talking to myself . I hope no one
heard me .
if the motor is going but the wipers aren't . then the plastic gear in the housing is probably broken. take off the black, plastic cover and you can see what the gear looks like.
