Looking for supplier of factory replacement (OEM) or direct replacement gears for a Chevrolet T5 transmission. Seems all I can find are for Ford upgrade or replcement parts for the Ford T5? Appears that Hanlon, Driveline, D&D Performance etc only list Ford gears and parts. Any help with a link would be greatly appreciated!

This may sound weird, but isn't the T5 a Ford tranny? GM has used Ford trannys in the past. What makes GM gears different? Joe
joe...definetely a difference between a GM T5 and Ford T5. Different bolt pattern to bolt to the bellhousing for 1, different tailhousing for another and different input and output spline counts. Now, as far as the gears? Thats another story and what I am searching an answer for. I need a 2nd gear for a GM T5 33 tooth count. Thanks
What I meant is it might be built by Ford for GM. The 3-speed manual in my Firebird is a FoMoCo unit, but it has GM spec input and output shafts, including the front snout and tailhousing. The main body and internals are Ford. Joe
joe...thanks. I think Borg Warner, eventually Tremec (bought Borg Warner) made both the Ford and GM units. Would help to know if the gears are interchangable...anyone?
