Help with console makeover
Has anyone used Edashkits.com to redo their interior console? Any pics?
The black plastic center console is pretty banged up on my 1980 L82. I was at least contemplating using one of those wood dash kits.
Edashkits has some nice looks.
I'd be very interested in seeing some pics of wood dash kits in your vette's.
I'd also like to hear about the overall experience.
Does it look cheesy? Does it get beat up very quickly? Does it look sloppy or out of place?
I'd love some help.
Of course the other option is to by the same black replacement console. I just don't think it's the best look.

Haven't seen many of the 'wood' dash kits on Forum cars. I suppose it depends on how realistic the wood looks. Real wood veneer might be nice but the fake stuff always looks fake.

Just redid mine, looked dull and even armorall wouldnt make look any better. I used polishing compound with a buffing wheel on a electric drill looks like knew again. Then just tape off the accent trim edge and spray with chrome paint.
