Thermo Switch for Spal Fans?
I am very happy w/dual Spal fans. The on/off switch is the problem. The old switch "unknown" was set up to kick on then cool engine to set temp. The switch was set to keep cooling after the ign was shut off. This helped cool the engine on hot days before restarting.
The problem came when the fans came on at Midnight and my neighbor knocked on my door to tell me my car was acting up. This drained my batt and left me stranded. Right now I have an on/off @185o w/180 thermostat. I think I should have got a 195 switch. Summer is coming and I want to get this settled. What are my options for a better more reliable set up? TIA
