well i called mid-america this morning and they said that my order isnt gonna ship out till some time after the 15th now so i went ahead and cancled my order and called up speeddirect just a few minutes ago and im now in on the group purchase 
looks like im gonna have to wait a little longer than i wanted but oh well i think the savings will be worth the wait and ty to whoever put this group perchase together

Here is the update as of 1:30 on 2-9-05 --I spoke with Elanor of Speed direct as Randy was on the phone .
We have 6 sets of steeroids ordered and need 4 more to get the 15% discount !!!

FYI --- This is a reminder that 3-10-05 is the last chance to get in on this discount --- anyone who orders 3-9-05 or 3-10-05 can at least get the 10% discount right now --and if we do get the 4 more orders needed ---we can get 15% off.

Just ordered mine and I was #11, so I guess we can all be happy we got the extra discount. I really wanted to be #10, but oh well. Randy said he just got off the phone with another member (#10) two minutes before me.
Since I already have manual steering, I stuck with the manual kit. He said parking will be a little more work than stock setup, but much better otherwise.
Supposed to be a fairly easy install too.

I just ordered a steeroid for my 74 big block. I was told shipping would be in about 2 weeks. I plan to run it without the power assist to free up some horsepower. Thanks for the group purchase effort to allow us to buy for 15% off.
