My 69 has arrived!!!
was pleasantly suprised to find out it was the 350 ci 350/380. dealer told me it was the 300 horse base motor. verified numbers match on the motor. fiber optics work, wipers work, headlights work(come up one at the time of course) and with its first wash, you guessed it, the t-tops leak lol
very straight body, panel gaps are great.
clock is accurate twice a day, drivers door lock will not completely engage and fuse was blown for the instrument panel lights.
original owners manual present but rough cover.
may have a rear wheel bearing issue,or maybe its just road noise. only really noticeable at highway speeds. just a slight whirring noise and slight driveline vibration at 55-60 mph. 3.70 gears and a 4 speed are real fun on the highway heheh(5 speed tremec in the future im sure)
for a 36 year old car,it drives great. lots of power and lots of craning necks as i drive by

sidepipes are not near as loud as i was expecting them to be,in fact they sound magnificent! took my ultrastinger flashlight to the undercarriage and it looks really clean(as far as i can see not having it on a lift)
ive met 4 new neighbors in 2 days...amazing how a nice car brings guys together lol
in short...I LOVE IT!!!!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
that is the wife to be in the background and she adores the car(it was her idea to hold off restoring my z28 and get a vette now-definitely found the perfect woman!!! lol)
i didnt know about the door lock or instrument panel lights but it sat in a showroom and probably hasnt been driven at night in ages so im not bothered by them not letting me know. car really drives great and the condition was just as advertised. i dont mind a few little things anyway,if its perfect today something will stop working tomorrow on 36 year old cars lol.
thanks for the replies everyone
Dave
