I saw a whole batch of them that were not properly oriented, the flat spot would cause the shock mount to be at a weird angle. I also returned some to a major supplier located in Florida, the steel was so soft that the threads pulled off at about 40 ft/lbs of torque. The latter were made in China. The first ones were made in Canada, but I did wind up getting Canadian made ones that were correct. I think if I ever go through this again I will find some good used oem ones.
