Default Steering ratio

If I remove the power steering assist cylinder from my car, is it basically the same as a factory manual steer? Same ratio that is. This car will become a street strip car with emphasis on strip.

Except the drag link has a special valve in the Pittman arm end, and so intruduces a bit of slop in the steering...the manual drag link has no slop....with typicak front drag tires, meaning small, the valve is no problem, but on the street, I feel it introduces wander in the steering, especially with modern wide tires....

Tommy to switch to manual steering you need to swap to a manual pitman arm, manual center link and can remove the plug in the knuckle and use either hole to alter steering ratio. The boxes are the same.
