Default Post pics of TPI setup please!!

I would like to see everyones TPI setup. Also, where you got it, and how much did it run you? Plus the install?

Thanks

Thank you Budman.

Does the TPI setup just bolt right onto the existing engine? What vehicles can you get them out of?

Please post more pics. I know I've seen a red setup with dual air filters. Who has that?

Thanks

You can always go the lt1 route also. Should be the same amount of work as a TPI.

Yes I thought about that, but I'm on a very tight budget and it looks like if I find some bargains the TPI setup will be alot cheaper.

PICS! PICS! PICS!

Well, I did mine some ten years ago, so it's an olde install, but then the engine was changed to a 4 bolt '89 truck block with factory style roller, ZZ9 cam and headers, and so forth....

I have a site, mentioned in the bio referances somewhere in here....think it's still active....

some years ago, I upgraded to a opened up larger runner system....

tpi set up was about 2200 I would venture to guess... again.. that is installing myself (new Fuel pump/lines, harness, etc...)

Componenetscan be had at www.firstinjections.com

I am running a F.A.S.T. programmable ECU...

What else is needed besides the ecu, manifold, wiring harness, mass airflow, waterneck, dist., coil, runners, plenum, sensors?

Will I need a new electric fuel pump to up the fuel pressure? Anything else?

Thanks

vehicle speed sensor.
What year do you have? Cars equipped w/ a lockup 350 already have one (it's on the back of the speedo w/ a little cable running to a blue or yellow box, it's tucked behind the dash ...in the area of the headlight switch), if you don't have one painless sells one you can install between the mech. speedo cable.

I have just the controller (missing the rest of the stuff, I just got started)...

I'm looking into:

www.megasquirt.info

If you go on the forums there, the admin has a C4 with it. They even have it controlling spark timing as well...let me know if you have questions, also, that site has a ton of FI info...

I dont have any pics loaded up yet, but I had a lot of fun putting a 89 vette tpi unit in my 72 vega, what a cool ride, did all the wiring myself, and engine ran great!
