C3 Surfer's? Surf rack question...

C3 Surfer's? Surf rack question...
Anyone have ideas on how to carry a 9' longboard (that's redundant, no?) on a vert? I'm thinking of purchasing soft-racks and modifying one to attach to the soft-top alignment holes in the windshield header (w/top down) and clamping the other to the deck lid edges.

A nice rack....!!!!!!!!
Wrong, wrong, wrong!!! Here's how it's done:-
First, put the blonde in the passenger seat.
Second, put the surf board in on top of her.
Third, get her to put her arms around it and not let go till you hit the beach.
This works quite well Down Under, just make sure she's got a good rack.

I guess I'll buy some soft racks and play with 'em a little. Maybe I'll invent the "next big thing".
What kind of market do you think I have? Several million convertible Vette owner's who surf, no?
