Is there a difference between '68 and '69 steering columns?

Is there a difference between '68 and '69 steering columns?
Particularly the steering wheel area? I am looking at a Momo wheel for my '68, and they list their adapters for '69 up. Does anyone know if a '69 part would work on a '68?

I dont know specifically about the momo wheel, but the general rule is that nothing from any other year works on a 68!! 
One big difference in the steering columns would be the ignition key in the 69.
