I believe it is now on the East coast - so that couldn't be it.

I'm guessing,, but is it not the Yorktown,, I recall visiting it many years ago in TO,,, nice ship, with lots of history,,,, by the way ,, not bad for a Quebecer,,hahaha,,,

I was on that ship last week. We spent 4 hours on it. Toured it all. Had a good band and great fireworks display. What a fantastic night on San Deigo Bay.

Correct and it is the same battle where the first Yorktown (CV-5) was sunk.

Just went by that bad boy yesterday.. It's right on the way to the airport.. I had a great view of Cornado also and two of the bad boys were dock out there.. CVN 74 and CVN ??... Dave...
