Power window reg. spring

If anyone out there has any experiance or knowledge about replacing the power window regulator spring I would be forever greatfull to share it. Rather not remove the window...thinking that I may cut hole inside to gain access.

You need to remove the regulator from the door. To do that, you have to remove the glass. It actually only took me about an hour to pull the glass and regulaotrs from both doors for a rebuild.

The physical act of pulling the window was a royal PITA for me. Replacing the spring wasn't too bad. You'll need a vise or you can do like I did and stand on the regulator when installing the spring. A good set of vise-grips helps too! Have Fun!
