Default Frame VIN location

Where's the VIN stamped on the frame for a '75? I've looked at the top of the frame ahead of the left rear body mount, but don't see anything.

Mine, A 72 was located right on top of the frame about where the left rear tire is located.

Yup, that's where it is, right on top of the frame rail in the wheel well.

Default I Found It!

It was on the top of the frame rail in the rear quarter panel area where the horn for the factory alarm is. It's about a foot away from the rear bumper brace. I had cleaned and checked the whole fender well area before I decided to look farther to the rear.
