Can anyone tell me what car this carb is supposed to be on, I can't seem to find the number anywhere online.

7028202

This number is also on the carb:
RP 29865

I know its a 68 chevy, but thats about it.

Also what is the correct number for a 69 427/390 with a M/T?

I don't know about the 202 number but your 69 L36 shows a 7029215 for either TI or non TI.

Are you sure its not 7028212?? The 212 is for a 68 327 Chevy (not a vette) with an auto.

Could not find any info for a 202

Can't find a 202 # either. There was a 7029202 in '69-350/300 A/T

But I found some '68 carb #'s
7028207- 327/300 M/T
7028208- 327/300 A/T
7028219- 327/350 ???

7028209- 427/390 M/T
7028216- 427/390 A/T

1969 427/390 M/T- 7029215
427/390 A/T- 7029204

Hope this helps out.

Just FYI if the last number is odd, the car is manual. If its even, its an auto. If you can find a 7028219, I am in need of one.

My carb numbers are on the small round aluminum disk on the side of the carb, so its real hard to read exactly what they are. I will have to wait until its light out again to get a second opinion. So far 7028202 doesnt seem to exist. Regardless, its not the correct one for my car. What differences are there between all these carbs besides the jets and rods? If i have it rebuilt, can I just have it rebuilt with the correct jets, etc. for the 69 427?

Under a second opinion the number might be 7026202, which is the base carb off a 66. Can this be rebuilt to the 69 427 standards?
