Default Dare to be Different..

I've been getting the bug lately to get new rims, and I've been lusting over these for quite some time, I havent seen anyone with these wheels on a shark, so I had to photoshop it..

Fikse FM5

and I know what you're thinking, why not go with TT2's?
I like em, dont get me wrong.. but I want to be different, and it seems everyone that puts aftermarket rims on their car goes with them.
but to be fair I did a chop of them too

I'm wondering if anyone else has any suggestions I could look into..
17's and billet (or polished) aluminum is a must
Thanks

Its hard to beat a nice set of ralleys on an early shark IMO. After saying that, I took mine off too and got the TTII's. I like the Edelbrock 409's pretty good too.

The wheels in the first pic actually look really good on your vette. I think it may be the color of your vette but I like em on your vette.

either wheel looks good..but your right about everyone having TT2s..still looks good, I went with Boyds myself..(flame suit going on) with a vintage look..sort of......bumper cars look better with wheels where "less is more"

The TT2's look awesome, I guess that's why so many have them. The Fiske wheels look great, would be a very good fit on a C4 - IMO way too modern for a chrome bumper C3

Oh yeah! Get the Fiskes! I've been lusting over those too. I dislike the TT2s. The flat spoke looks so much better than a rounded spoke.

17" rallies ???? .... just an idea, there is a company here in Orlando that sells chrome rallies in 15", 16" and 17" ... not sure if they have 17X11" - that would be awesome... and different !!

I am looking at the black annodized CCW 3 piece street wheels.

(mainly cause who else is gonna give me affordable custom wheels in the 17x10 and 17x12 range)

I really like the Fikse's. I thought about those too. Kinda pricey, but high quality and definitely unique. I think most 5 spokes look good on chrome bumper sharks.

I think this might be my new set sometime soon.

17's or 18's would be nice in any non-stock wheel. The rallye's just don't look quite right at that size.

Love those, but if you're going for the animal cracker look, get the monkey wheels.
I'm happy with my AR-136.

I have factory aluminum wheels and wanted something different too. I love the look of the TT2s, but like you said everyone has them now. I ended up with C5 wagon wheels.

I agree, the CCW stuff has got to be some of the best looking rims ever. Too bad the price tag is around 2k for a set. Guess I will ahve to save up.
