the phrase "Drawing The Line" is like saying "what is the sound of a one-handed clap"....Well?!...WHAT IS THE SOUND??!?!?!...WHERE IS THE lInE!!?!?! AHhaHAHa!!! STUPID HORSE. DIE!@
I only owned mine for about 10 months now and already invested over 5K in it, and still alot more $$$ to go.. will it ever end..
I do not look at it in terms of $$$. I look at it as something I want to drive for the sheer enjoyment. I also spend money in terms of "phases" like preventive maintenance.
Phase 1. Suspension/Drive line
Phase 2. Interior
Phase 3. Exterior
Phase 4. Engine
Status:
Phase one is 80 %.
Phase 2. 0%
Phase 3. 98%
Phase 4. At 115,000 miles still running strong
Forgot Phase 5,electrical. 60% (I think)
In my book it's never "done". There is always something that can be replaced/improved/modified. Heck, with enough rock chips, I can always repaint it. If I ever get tired of this one, I will buy another one and start the whole process all over.
