I know how you feel, I was very happy after I dropped my BB and drove my Vette into the garage under it's own power. And that was only about a month! 2 years! Yikes
Simple pleasures though. I got tired of pushing her in and out.

Good to hear it.
Hey good job! It's better to waite and get it right than drive it knowing it could bust at anytime or it's not done the way u want it.
And mine has been done 4 yrs now so this is encouraging for me to hear. cardo0
I probably have the record for dust collecting. I tore my 71 down in 1992 for a paint job and interior restoration--about a year after I restored the whole drive train (about 6 months of work). To make a long story short, after a year at the body shop and a bill that put me into a coma for a year, my car has been in the garage under a cover until about a month ago. I hung the rear bumpers 2 days ago, and have the rear end finished up to the License plate with 1990 tabs on it.
It took me forever just to unpack and clean all the parts. Fortunately at the time I bought new parts for whatever was in less than nice condition and boxed it all up for when I could get the time to do it. Now it's mostly just putting it back together.
