Default New pics

Well with all the rain and storms lately in San Diego I haven't got out much. Yesterday we had a glimpse of sun so I drove the 68 to work and to my 1st meeting with the Corvette Owners Club of San Diego, some beautiful rides there specifically the 58 Panama Yellow convertible. Anyway took a ride to the beach and although it was over cast here some pics on the bay side of Pacific Beach to share.

Sweet! Excellent looking machine!

Keep your old rims, but new ones would make it extra sweet!!

Thanks. The tires are brand new, so is the spare rim so given the outlay of cash it'll be awhile. Next time I get new rims will be on a C6 convertible.

Love your ride .... I've always had a sweet spot for the chrome bumper vettes even if I don't have one. That's one cool car .

Great shots of a fine looking C3. What kind of polish do you use, the paint looks like new?

Paint is 8 plus years old. Great old paint job, nice shine but a butt load of rock hits, scratches, 52 of em to be exact. Next year I'm stripping it off and spraying the stock International blue back on. I use both Meguiars Carnuba and in between Simply Z Best.

Car looks great . Quite teasing all of us that were standing in line when you were talking about selling that beauty. But seriously that is one sharp 68 Vert. Wish I knew how to post pics, everybody seems to like the visuals . Brent

Now that shot brings back memories. Are you parked at the Visitor Center (next to the basketball courts)? Wonder what the Marine Police would do if I dropped my "straight-pipe" Cigarette in there and opened it up?

Thanks, I know of Meguiars but what is Simply Z best??? They sell Meguiars here but the other must come from the states.
I will be in LA next weekend so I would like to pick up some items like simply green stuff that I see others recomending, when in LA. Do you know where I can get thes items?
