Air cleaner help
inside the air cleaner on a 81, does the little vacume sensor with the letters AC on it face towards the carberator or towards the outside of the air cleaner. I took it off to get the air cleaner PC and did not note the direction of the letters.

I looked on my 81 air cleaner (stored in spare bedroom) and it's facing towards the outside. If you were leaning on the fender you could read it. I don't know if it matters but the longest hose fits under the "C" and the shortest under the "A".
