upgrades while engine is out?
im looking to get a few more hp outta my motor while its out of the car and begging to be worked on, the car probably has mid 200hp but i really have no idea, i need direction as to what i should invest money in. unfortunately i really cant afford 6-800$ on heads or how ever much they cost. but i would like to do waht i can, not lookin to break 10 seconds(much less 14) but id like something thats got some go. mind you this engines hooked up to a m21 muncie transmissoin. i beleive its running a 650cfm holley carb ontop of a edelbrock streemaster intake. most of this stuff was on the car when i bought it. thanks in advance. - Bob

I suggest taking a close look at your frame and crossmember under the engine for cracks. It's not uncommon to have cracks just from normal frame flex while driving on the street. It's much easier to do this while the engine is out
