Here's a link to installing a convertible top. I'm currently trying to knock mine out on a '74. Someone on the forum wrote to pick up an Al Knoch video to help with installation. Fine and dandy if you want to part with $70. Check out this website for information. It should be helpful.

If your top frame is out of adjustment (most are) then that should be addressed before you start the replacement.

They don't address frame adjustment..... just curious- does the $70 video include frame adjustment procedures prior to top install??

My frame is totally out of wack too. I think the queer eye for the straight guy guys are straighter than my frame.

 

I never actually bought the video so I can't tell you if it addresses frame adjustment. The $70 scared me off. For that price I'd think they could at least put on a cd..... and throw in a B.T. Blonde.
