Default Recommendations for Roller Tip Rockers

I recently put a post on the site about roller rockers vs. roller tip rockers and which ones I should get. I've decided to go with roller tip rockers. What brand/type should I go with? What do you all recommend? I have 71 with a 350 bored .020, hooker headers, edelbrock performer aluminum high rise intake, edelbrock carb, new crank, new cam, flat top pistons, and I'm going to change my heads to some Summit cast iron soon.

Comp Cams Magnum.

BTW: The Summit heads have machined slots in the heads that act as pushrod guides, so you don't need guideplates! And the slots should be long enough to handle 1.6 rockers...you can ask the tech folks at Dart to be sure...

I've looked at the Comp Cams Magnum before and thought they would make a good set. Thanks for the help. Seems you have helped me a whole lot in making my last couple of decisions. I appreciate it.

I also went with the Comp Cams Magnum. In retrospect, not sure if I really gained much but sure was cool to my buddies while I was building the engine...they actually thought that I knew what I was doing.

Heck...I'm just telling you what I did. I like to make recommendations based on what I've actually done...not just speculations!

I use Comp Magnum 1.52 ratio roller tips on anything I build these days. I have tried some others but will stick with those.

Comp Cams Magnums. I am running the 1.52s and have had zero problems. They run to 6500+ rpm quite a lot on my motor without any problmes.

It's interesting that the factory in it's high tec 3800 motors with roller cams, windage tray, slipper pistons, narrow rings and full floating pins and bushed rods choose roller pivot rockers and the normal tip???

I've got 130k miles on a 327 with a 260 Comp Cam with 1.52 magnums. Had to replace the valve cover gasket the other day and inspected them while I was in there. They looked great.
