Please post your comments on results.I've used Meguiars# 26 for a long time. But want to try NXT and use Meguiars 26 for a topper.
Have not researched, but does NXT have any abrasives ?
I might try Liquid Glass (relatively inexpensive @ Pep Boys) next. Maybe I will need to go to Zaino....
Not totally satisfied with the NXT....

You must remove any old polish before application of NXT,by the way...for best results...

I am going to try NXT on my 82 also. I know that you should remove the old wax before re-applying. I heard Dawn dishwashing liquid will remove the old wax yet not bother the paint. Does anyone know if this is true?
Thanks,
Tom

First,I washed off the old wax (rear of car). Then I applied NXT on one side(half).
I applied Meguiars #26 on the other half (different applicator)and let both sides sit for 25 minutes. First thing I noticed was the #26 haze was a lot more visible compared to the NXT.
The NXt came off alot easier than the #26.I used a clean terry cloth, then a finishing cloth. It took more effort on the #26,(noticeable). I have to say the NXT is "slicker".
I could not tell a difference in the shine.(in garage). So I did both T-tops the same way.Again,I'm convinced the NXT is alot smoother(slicker) after polishing.Shine looks same.
If the sun comes out,I'll move it outside, and look again.I don't own any "black" cars, but I have a red one.I'll try it there,an see if there is a difference in the shine.I also use #26 on that vehicle too.

No difference in shine on the red car.(some oxidation)All else same.

Just use some good car wash liquid, just about all of the old wax will be gone, and if you clay bar you will be starting with the best bare finish you can get.
Once again, Dishwashing soaps are VERY HARSH to your paint....
I have used #26 for years, and just recently used NXT. I like them both.
blows NXT AND ZANIO outta the water its 89 bucks for the sovern and 39 for the jar of signature I bought hte signature detailing kit it comes with all u need I think it was 69.
