hood clearance
I need more hood clearance so I can get the hood latched. The air cleaner is a 2 5/16 element with a 14 inch round air cleaner. The car is a 1971 corvette 454 it has a L88 hood on it and it still won't shut. The intake is a dual plane like a weiand action plus with a 750 holley with choke. I need like another 1/4 of an inch to get it to latch correctly. There is no spacer.
