Hi to you all. Just thought I should introduce myself, I'm new to all this forum stuff (Corvettes included). Although I have had a passion for Corvettes for nearly 30 years, I have only just acquired my first one (1973 coupe), I say acquired, but truth be known, I haven't even taken delivery of it yet as it is currently on a ship somewhere between Miami & Australia (due to arrive in May). The wait is killing me. I have been watching this forum for the past week or so & am amazed at just how much valuable information is contributed by everyone, I have already learnt a great deal about all sorts of issues relating to this breed & feel all the more confident for when mine finally arrives.
Well, thankyou all for the advice & information that I have already indirectly received, & hopefully in the future, I will be able to make some valuable contributions myself.
John, did you go the F1 race the other week? We have some friends in Melbourne who go every year.
Paul,I live about 800 meters from the corners at the end of the main straight..i didn't go to the track this year, but did watch on tv,i really prefer other classes of cars and the gp bikes...much more interesting...imho F1 is too processional, fast car wins qual then isnt passed unless it breaks...much more interesting watching our V8 supercar racing...john
