Fedex late
well my steeroids shiped out last thursday and fedex had a delivery date of march 19th so i call today to find out where my pacage is and they dont know and put a trace on it and said the would call me back in 24-48 hours to let me know where it is. it showes a departure scan in shawnee, ks on the 18th but nothing else sense.

Don't get me started about FedEx Ground...
They are contract driver's who bid on routes for FedEx. Guess who wins? Lowest bidder!
Three times (at two different locations) they failed to leave a door-hanger. I had no idea they were there until I checked the tracking #...and it said "No-one available at address, shipment returned to sender".

Yea I agree stay away from Fedex the big brown is the only way to go! I've ordered part for work and shipped Fedex and they are inevitably late. UPS shows up sometimes late but at least on the right day!

FedEx is the worst shipping company in the world. This comes as no suprise..i've been there...scheduled delivery date, stuff doesn't show up, then when they do ship it, i always get it at 7:30PM..which i hate. I called and called to complain about stuff shipping from Summit to my house, and they were like, "well its Ground service, its 7-10 days, if you needed it that bad, you should have 2 day air!" I'm like, its coming from OHIO!! i live 3 hours away from SUMMIT! had to vent. I HATE FedEx. All my packages are shipped UPS, and if it has to be Fedex, i will buy it from someplace else.

I ship with FedEx on a daily basis...at work. If you are shipping to/from a business address, no problem. With the tracking number, you can track the package from truck to trucks....every time it changes hands. BUT...if you ship FedEx Ground to a residental address....all bets are off. They don't guarantee delivery dates nor delivery times. You get it when it gets there....
Good luck....I've had much better service at home with UPS...the UPS guy even brings my dog cookies...

dont get me wrong i never ship anything FedEx i always use UPS and never have had a major problem with them but it wasnt my choice in the matter sense i wasnt the one shiping the part. it just sucks that vendors use FedEx even though they have such a bad reputation. it seems everytime i get something from FedEx there is a problem to go along with it and i think out of all the times i have gotten something from the FedEx guy i have only seen him once. the only problem that i have ever had with the UPS guy taht delivers to me is he has delivered my stuff to the wrong address and that is only because the other address has almost the same street name as mine and im sure i would have made the same mistake but after doing this a few times he relised and hasnt made the same mistake in over 6 months now. he also makes a point to deliver the package when he see's that there is someone here so he doesnt have to leave it in my car port. oh yea and i have been here 90% of the time when he has droped off stuff and he is a realy nice guy to chat with. well hopefully we can talk our supporting vendors into using UPS instead of fedex. ok im done

I had the same experience with FedEx Ground....I even paid extra for 3 day delivery. So when it arrived late I contacted the shipping vendor and asked to be compensated for the extra I paid. They truned around and refunded the entire shipping cost....so you may want to check that out....it might be late but at least you might not have to pay for it.

When I order from Summit and is shipped via UPS it gets to my house next day, with FEDEX it is a crap shoot. Just placed and order today over the net and am crossing my fingers they use UPS, when I phone in I 'demand' big brown.

well after several calls to FedEx they informed me that my parts got shiped to the wrong place and it ended up in HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, AR how it ended up there i have no clue but they said taht it was a mistake and they are over nighting it to me and said that it has priority and will be here tomorrow morning. we'll see
