I don't want people to know what my docile baby blue vette has in it though. Of course the chambered exhuast and lumpy cam are their first clue it's no longer stock .
Looks good. I did the same on my 78. Aftermarket L-88 hood looked a little bare so I put Pontiac 350 emblems on it. You can just make them out in my pictures.
I like this- my '78 originally came with the L-48, but it now has a '72 350 bored 40 over. While I like the L-82 emblems, they aren't quite right, so the '350' was in my mind. I had thought the ones that came on the front fenders of the '68 Camaros might work, but forgot about the Firebird/Lemans type. I recall they are kind of wedge-shaped (thicker at the top than the bottom). Did you get yours at YearOne?

I really want a L-88 or Cowl Induction style hood for my '80. I need one for the added clearance but I dread the possiblility of it having a poor fit and finish. Especially around the edges.
Maybe I should drive my Vette to Vanacor's in La. so I can test fit one before paying for it.
