Default Dana 44- Help needed !!!!

Hey guys, I have the dana 44 rear diff out of my 80 vette and need help to find 2 very " nothing parts "that are causing me a great deal of aggrevation. I need 2 clutch retainers for my diff. A very helpful jimvette999 sent what he thought were the correct clutch retainers but they turned out to be a little bit larger than what I need. I can buy the complete clutch pack but all I need are 2 clutch retainers and that works out to $50.00 per retainer ( which is about the size of a nickel ). That hurts! So here I am again trying to beg , borrow and plead for anyone who may have any of these parts laying around . Thanx Brent

I will try Tom's and a few others , which I had no luck with in the past. My best shot being someone that had redone thier rear end with a new clutch package and has the old retainers laying around the garage. I would love to take someones "junk" off thier workbench .... Brent

I can't remeber if I went through Toms or Randys ring and pinion when I needed those clips for my 80 one of the two should be able to get them for you. I really want to say i went through Randys. They where pretty cheap as i remember.
