Default Dynomax??

Just bolted on true duals and lost the cat. Left stock mufflers on until I decide what I want. It runs MUCH MUCH better.

I have listened to different sites and have narrowed it down to the Dynomax super turbo or Ultra flow.

Any suggestions?

The Dynomax website has sound bites on a few cars but the only one with them both on to compare is a Dodge durrango

Anyone have a pair of these??

I run the dynomax super turbos and like them. My old old set were not shot but I went and bought 2 new ones thinking my old one must be burnt out by now but the new one sounded just like the very old ones.
I choose them because I thought they are about the quietest I could get with good flow. They do not have a resonance in the car. I hate that,

i have the ultra flows on mine and they sound pretty good if you like loud when you floor it and its not annoying when your on the high way. Plus there stainless steel and last. They also fit well under the car.

Same here, just got the whole exhaust replaced, lost 50lbs. of rust in the process.

I want a little loud but not over the top. I'm afraid the super turbo will be to quiet. I want a rumble when I'm cruzing and loud when I punch it

I have the Super Turbo's,but take many road trips, and like mello sound at speed. At low RPM,they sound louder, then when I get on it,they mello out.

I have the Ultraflows and like them a lot. They're fairly quiet at idle and cruise but open up like the old glasspacks (which is what they really are) when you put your foot down.

Same here, but I built the car from a non-running basket case so I don't have a before to compare to.

Keep in mind that the cam you are running will affect the amount of noise you get.

I pulled the stock muffs/cat off and installed true duals and Dynomax Super Turbos. They definately make more noise than the stock muffs but not enough to **** off the neighborhood. Good choice for just about anything. They make a lot of racket when you floor it. You will not be imbarrased by the sound.

I have the ultraflows and love them. The sound is just what I was looking for.

I like the ultraflows too, but as far as I know they are brightly polished aluminumized, not stainless. They do look like stainless however.

Me too. 2 1/2" with true dual exhaust. Mufflers are offset inlet/outlet and they sound terrific.
