Sorry, I like the chrome better. JMHO I also like the front spoiler and want to eventually add on to my '70. It will add to the "lowered" look.

Neither is "bad." It's your hot-rod man.

The black on yellow is definitely a good mix.
I like it better with the black fade-stripe.
However, what stands out for me is the large gap in front of the door.
That's tough to change without filling along the edge of the door or fender.

I'm a mirror guy myself. I had that type of mirror a long time ago then went to Camara rally mirrors and two months installed the latest mirrors.

Man that looks just right; not too much black but just enough. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing with us.

I think the Chrome look is much classier. But my second choice would be black!

Regardless Nice Looking car, drive the hell out of it!

Supposedly it was a 1974 thing only for the front clip to be that far from the door because of body flex, fixed it in '75 along with rear split bumper, I have no documentation of this but the previous owner assured me of this when I stuck my finger in the door gap and said "WTF" . I figured what ta hey it's a Chevy so...

Black would look great!

Quick question BOOG, what is the name of the wheels in the very first picture you have on your post? I have the same ones and I've been trying to find out the name. Any idea what it is?

I tried to find some kind of marking on them but never did, most people just told me they were "Western wheels".
