Default 80-82 side measurement

Can someone please measure the distance from the front fender louver opening to the back edge of the door on an 80-82 car? I want to get a decal that looks like it is coming out of the louvers and flowing down the door but my car is in the paint shop and I keep forgetting to do it when it when I visit them.

I just measured my 80. From the top of the vent closest to the door back to the rear of the door is 56 3/4in from the bottom of the vent closest to the door to the back of the door is 52 1/2in. add about 3in to each of those if you want to extend it to the wheel well. A word of advice is to go longer anyways so that you can wrap the decal around the door edges its less likely to get caught and peeled at the corners. I might do something on my car but I don't know what, but I will be painting it on. hope this helps my measure ments might be slightly different that what they will be on your car. But they should be pretty close.

Thanks guys. The body work is almost finished so my car should be in primer by the end of this week. Hopefully it will have Millenium Yellow paint on it not too long after that.
