Default Mock Up Part Deux

Today I got the intake set, but not torqued. I'm waiting for the exhaust manifold bolts to show up. The bolts for the intake are installed but only finger tight. This is because I can't locate the AC strut until i can solidly mount the AC bracket on to the exhaust manifold. When I got to the point that I could not go any further, I pieced things together to see what I am looking at...Yes, the carb is still MIA (should be here this week) but you all get the idea of what it is gonna look like...And yes, I like the bowtie decal on the dist box...

That looks pretty good. What kind of carb are you going with?

It looks good except for the sticker. You knew someone was going to say that, right?

I actually don't mind it, it fits in with the rest of the parts.

May I suggest cleaning and painting your firewall before installing those nice new parts? It's easy, and it will make a big difference in the overall appearance.

I like the orange stuff. Spray it on and rinse it off. Paint with Satin Black spray paint.

Oh yeah, that looks sweet. I like the matte black and bright red contrast. Looking good, now get it running! Hah, I should talk. I just dropped off my cylinder heads at the machine shop last week. I expect the cam and springs to be in this week.
